Motor Vehicle Burglary (2017/10/11)

The New Braunfels Police Department is seeking tips about the identity of this individual who is suspected of burglarizing motor vehicles in New Braunfels. Thesuspect pictured in these photos (taken from a home surveillance camera) is believed to be connected to recent burglaries reported in the Morningside Drive area and the Walnut Avenue area, on the east side of I-35.

On today's date (10/11/17), at just before 1am, this suspect was spotted by officers in the Morningside Drive/Schmidt Avenue area. The suspect fled from officers on foot. A search of the area, including from the air by a DPS helicopter, was unsuccessful in apprehending him.

The suspect is described as a black male in his teens to early twenties with an Afro style haircut. He was last seen wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on the identity of this suspect is asked to call Comal County Crime Stoppers. Credit Card Abuse (2017/10/03)

The New Braunfels Police Department is seeking tips from the public on the identity of a man believed to be a suspect in a number of credit card abuse cases. Over the last several months, the suspect (pictured in the attached photos) has been using stolen credit cards at several Best Buy locations, including the location in New Braunfels.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call Comal County Crime Stoppers. All tips to Crime Stoppers are confidential and anonymous and they are offering a reward of up to $2000 for information that leads to an arrest and/or grand jury indictment.

Law Enforcement Impersonator (2017/09/13)

The Comal County Sheriff's Office is seeking tips from the public on the identity of a man who has been impersonating a law enforcement officer. Wearing a uniform similar to a Texas DPS Trooper, this man reportedly pulls vehicles over for various alleged infractions and, in the most recent incident, asked to search the victim’s vehicle.

The alleged impersonator is driving a vehicle that resembles an unmarked law enforcement vehicle equipped with red and blue emergency lights in the windshield. The suspect is described as a white male, standing approximately 5-foot 9-inches tall, weighing about 220 pounds with a pot belly. He has brown hair, brown eyes, has been known to wear a beard. He may also have discoloration or blotches on his left hand. He has been seen wearing a “uniform” consisting of dark tan pants with blue stripes, a dark tan button down long-sleeved shirt with no tie, a plain black ball cap, and displaying a plain gold badge with no markings on the badge on his chest.
