New Braunfels/Comal County Crime Stoppers is not a unit of the New Braunfels Police Department or Comal County Sheriff's Office, but a self-sufficient non-profit corporation composed of citizens from New Braunfels and Comal County that provides a mechanism for anyone who wishes to report information about a crime, location of a wanted person, illegal drugs or stolen property. And when you call Crime Stoppers... ALL CALLERS REMAIN ANONYMOUS and YOU COULD RECIEVE A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $1,000 What do I do if I know about a crime? Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 620-TIPS or 1-800-640-8422 Give the information about the crime. You will be asked some basic questions but you will NOT be asked to give your name. You will be given a code number and instructions on how to call back to learn about the progress of your tip.
